New Toys For Your Computer!
This month's meeting will feature demonstrations of many computer
peripherals currently available for PC's. The demonstrations will include:
- Showing movies on your PC using Digital VideoDisk (DVD) technology
- Still photography and image processing using a digital camera
- Live video capture using a digital camcorder connected to a PC
- Document scanning using full page and hand-held scanners
- Photo quality colour printing
- Assembly of a PC from basic components
- File storage using Zip disks
We have had over 300 visitors to our web site since the end of March. Keep checking it out!
Bob Pajot and Larry Ruston are making it into a useful information tool for PC users, as
well as a source of information about the club. Don't forget that communication on the Web page
is two-way via E-mail. Give us your feedback. This is YOUR user group. If you have any
special topics that you would like to see presentations on, or an area of computer expertise in
which you could make a presentation, let us know! We are still looking for a full time
editor for the TXT. Any volunteers would be more than welcome. We have many
sources for content. We simply need someone to put it together. Thanks to Larry Ruston and
Bob Pajot for providing the articles for this month's newsletter
